A 2-inch rubber plug needs to be matched to the opening it will close. The size label may refer to a measured diameter or to a nominal pipe size, so check the actual bore and the plug’s stated fitting range before selecting a part. A tapered stopper, a panel plug and a mechanical expansion plug use different retention methods.
On an expansion plug, tightening the specified nut compresses the rubber element so that it expands against the bore. The metal or plastic hardware, rubber element and opening must work together. Follow the installation limits for the selected design; the presence of a wing nut does not establish a pressure rating or a percentage improvement in sealing.
For plumbing or pool-maintenance use, identify the fluid, temperature, expected pressure and whether the closure is temporary. Check the available insertion depth and access for removal. Select a plug intended for that service rather than adapting a decorative or cushioning component to contain liquid.
Stopper & Plug Size Catalog
Compare four stopper profiles and check the selected part dimensions against your opening and available depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
Custom colors are available to your Pantone color code. Include the code in your inquiry.
RST T-Shaped Plugs
Match stem diameter A, flange diameter B, stem length C and flange thickness D. E refers to the underside recess; use the selected row and approved drawing to confirm the actual profile.

RSA Tapered Corks
Compare large-end diameter A, small-end diameter B and Height, in mm. The mating bore and required seating depth determine where the taper contacts the opening.

RSB Undercut Plugs
Compare neck diameter A, flange diameter B, flange-to-lip distance C and flange thickness D. Check panel thickness and rear clearance. E refers to the underside recess.

RSD T-Shaped Stoppers
Compare stem diameter A, flange diameter B, stem length C and head thickness D, in mm. Check the seating surface and available depth as well as the hole diameter.
