Rubber mini keg bung is a reusable bung used to close the mini keg during beer production. Key bung has different applications, including automatic welding, sealing spring back cap, beer experience, and has a single wall with a screw cap. Mini kegs are 100% reusable and store in a cool place where sunlight cannot penetrate.
It is common to believe that mini-kegs are not reusable and often throw in the dust bin after one use. It is not true because rubber mini-keg bung uses multiple times and has a great ability to recycle. You can take advantage of key bungs and create a kegerator for the preparation of homebrew.
Mini kegs are always two options, larger and newly copper IPA. These kegs hold five liters of beer for five weeks, but once they open, it is suitable that drink the beer within two days. The beer releases quickly after opening the rubber mini keg bung, so it is best that make the party within 24 hours.
It is easy to operate the mini keg. First, open the red valve on the upper side of the keg. Pull the red handle and rotate it anticlockwise. Place keg on the flat surface corner, stable and bend red tap, and hold the glass under the tap. Rotate the tap anticlockwise and pour the beer easily from the lower side of the glass. Finally, rotate the tap clockwise and close it.
The inner diameter of the rubber mini keg bung is 1/2. The temperature which is suitable for your keg is 37 degrees Fahrenheit. Try to store your keg in cold conditions because if the temperature rises, bacteria start to grow and spoil beer quality. If the temperature is not high, then the rubber mini-keg bung retains the carbonation in a good situation.
