Small Rubber Plugs

There are so many different uses for small rubber plugs that it should come as no surprise that there are dozens or even hundreds of different small rubber plugs on the market. Surely at this moment, whether you are at home or in the office, you have small rubber plugs a few meters away from you. They can be found in furniture, a car or somewhere else but almost certainly they are around. Some of the models you will most often see are ventilation plugs, liquid tight plugs, tapered plugs and so on. All, of course, small in the dimensions you need.

Rubber is very cheap, and yet durable, flexible, tear and wear-resistance and much more. That is why small plugs are mostly made of rubber or different variations of this material. Also, the rubber is very easy to mold and that is why you can get any shape and size of rubber plugs you want. The three most important sizes when choosing small rubber plugs are inside diameter, groove diameter and groove width. This will determine that the plug fits perfectly, although even if it is not a perfect size, it can usually fit because rubber has such characteristics. For use in laboratories and the like, it must fit perfectly, and if the use is aesthetic, then it doesn’t matter that much.

We offer small rubber plugs made of natural rubber, NBR, neoprene, FKM and silicone. Each of these materials has the general characteristics of products made of rubber, but also each of them has something specific. Silicone is used if it will be in contact with food, for example, and also for aesthetic reasons. If there is a gaping hole somewhere, it is ideal to close it with the help of small rubber plugs made of silicone. Natural rubber are being used because it is so durable, NBR for contact with oil, and FKM in laboratories because it is acid-resistant.
