Silicone rubber cap

Silicone rubber cap

Powder coating, e-coating, and even custom painting processes have production lines that move and work fast. Thus, the painting process is often extensive and covers large parts of the component with paint while painting. While this is perfectly fine and is actually necessary to keep the production line going, what it does is jeopardize painting over small components that either don’t need painting or need to be painted with detail differently.

Powder coaters, e-coaters, and custom painters don’t have time to mind every single detail. The production line works on tight deadlines that need to be completed at a specific time. On the other hand, the part that needs protection may be pretty significant, even if it’s small. This puts the painting industry in a dilemma of what should be done. In situations like these, a silicone rubber cap can do the job for you.

Silicone rubber caps are caps made from the highest quality silicone rubber designed to withstand harsh conditions and do their jobs perfectly. While its function doesn’t sound much, a silicone rubber cap provides much more utility for the painting industry than other components available in the market. They can easily cover the small part that needs protection from paint and make sure no color gets on it.

Since they are made from silicone rubber, their sealing capabilities are off the charts. They are also much easier to install than caps of other materials. High-quality silicon rubber caps have a temperature resistance of up to 300 degrees celsius, meaning they can survive the harshest of coating and painting conditions. This allows them to protect the small part more effectively than anything else. Additionally, due to this resistance to high temperatures, silicone rubber caps are also used in the medical field since they can easily survive the high temperatures of the sterilization process.
