Gasoline Resistant Rubber Washer
There are many instances in which you could need a rubber washer. As you probably know, a rubber washer is a flat rubber ring that is often used as a buffering or sealing ring between two annexed objects. A rubber washer can be a great way to prevent leaks if you need to attach two pipes to one other or if you need to protect some kind of gentle surface. Also, if you need to buffer some vibrations – a rubber washer can really come in handy. We have been manufacturing rubber washers for quite a long time, and we can proudly say that because of their unique characteristics, such as durability, flexibility and resistance – rubber washers are a lot better than metal washers in almost every scenario.
For instance, if you need a gasoline resistant rubber washer – you do not go for a metal washer. Instead, you would get Buna-N or Nitrile rubber washer. Buna-N or Nitrile rubber washers are gasoline resistant rubber washers and are often used as a part of a petrol pump. In these instances, it is paramount that you prevent any spills or leaks from happening because gasoline is an extremely flammable liquid. Fortunately, a gasoline resistant rubber washer like the one we produce can easily handle that kind of a job.
Not only are they gasoline resistant, but these rubber washers can easily withstand both high and low temperatures; they offer great compression, tear and abrasion resistance while also being resilient to oils, acids, as well as water. They are also quite good at rebounding, meaning they will do a good job at buffering vibrations. Gasoline resistant rubber washer made from Buna-N will have greater strength compared to some other rubber washers. However, they will not be as flexible as, for instance, a silicone flat rubber washer.
