Generator Rubber Feet

Generators are widely known as machines that produce a lot of vibrations and noise. Therefore, we, along with many other people, have tried to find a way to minimize the effects of those vibrations on both the generator as well as the surrounding. As you probably know, generators are not supposed to be placed or mounted directly onto a hard surface such as concrete or metal. Instead, if you want to mount them onto the said surface, you have to use both anti vibration pads, as well as the generator isolators to muffle and absorb the vibrations.

In the events where you have a small scale generator, basically, the one that does not need to be mounted onto the surface – you do not have to use the anti vibrational pads or isolators. Instead, you can use generator rubber feet. Generator rubber feet will essentially do the same thing as the previous two, only on a smaller scale and not as efficient. Since non-mountable generators do not produce great levels of vibrations, generator rubber feet should be more than enough to keep them in place and also absorb and muffle the vibrations.

Generator rubber feet shall be mounted underneath the generator, perhaps even directly onto the generator designated feet. It all depends on the model and type of the generator. That is why you can find generator rubber feet in a wide variety of sizes, shapes and thicknesses. Some of them will be circular, and some of them will be square and will most certainly vary in size – anywhere from 50×50 mm up to 200×200 mm. As far as thickness goes, they will not be very thin, as they will have to serve as feet, not as a rubber cap or anything similar, so they will start around 10 mm thick and go up to 50 mm thick, possibly thicker if you might need it.
