Non-Latex Rubber Tubing

Nowadays, elastic rubber products are increasingly used. Over the years, the products of this type were most often made out of latex. However, for several reasons, such as allergic reactions to latex, durability, and the like – the use of products made of non-latex materials has been developed. Today, in many industries we use non-latex materials. Why? 

Namely, although it was previously considered that the use of latex is good because of its ecological sustainability and harmlessness – over time, this way of thinking began to cause some doubts. Therefore, the production of non-latex raw materials that can be used for various purposes has started. Their basic characteristic is that they are stretchy and elastic like latex – and yet, they will not contain this component.

Non-latex materials are most commonly used in medicine. However, they are almost equally used in other industries. When we talk about non-latex rubber tubing materials in medicine – this raw material is most commonly used to make surgical gloves or non-latex rubber tubing used in surgery. Of course, this is not the only field where non-latex materials are used for products that have wide application today.

We also use non-latex rubber tubing for various purposes like making garden equipment, hoses, and the like. The reason is primarily their harmlessness, elasticity – but also the ability to withstand exposure to high temperatures. Therefore, their durability has a longer time span than was the case before.

Non-latex tubing is made from a variety of materials. Various synthetic materials are used in the production – which enhances the durability of these products. This is extremely important because some of these non-latex tubings are used in the food and even the chemical industry. This means that they must be resistant to temperatures – but also to various chemicals that are conducted through these tubes.
