Reinforced silicone tubing high temp
Reinforced silicone tubing high temp is most commonly used to move or transport liquids, gases or some other substances from one place to another. Rubber tubing is one of the most frequently used instruments in many industries because it allows uninterrupted transportation of such substances. Gases or liquids can be safely transported from point A to point B, without any worries that the outside environment will affect the quality of the gas or liquid or the other way around. However, this is not the only thing that makes rubber tubing special.
First of all, rubber tubing is very affordable. In fact, a high-quality rubber tube is more affordable than its plastic counterpart, even when it is made from the highest quality rubbers, both natural and synthetic. On top of all that, rubber tubing is very sustainable, very resilient and very flexible. Also, durability is another key feature of rubber tubing.
However, sometimes, you need better, more rigid and durable rubber tubing. In those instances, we would offer you one of the most durable and products we manufacture – reinforced silicone tubing high temp resilient.
Reinforced silicone tubing, otherwise known as braid-reinforced silicone tubing, is primarily used in the food industry. It is FDA-approved to transport ingredients and other food-related substances. As is often the case with silicone tubing, reinforced silicone tubing is also translucent, making it easy to monitor the transferring process. As you can tell from the name, reinforced silicone tubing is high temperature resilient and can withstand temperatures as low as -85°F and as high as 350°F, which is just under 180°C. Apart from being very resistant to temperature, it is also ultra-flexible, UV and ozone resistant, and perhaps more importantly – it is odorless, tasteless and inert, making it ideal for the food industry. In the end, it’s important to note that reinforced silicone tubing can be low-pressure steam-sterilized, making it suitable for long-term use.
