Rubber bung plug
A rubber bung plug is also a type of stopper used to seal the contents inside a flask.
The rubber bung plug prevents the escape of any kind of content inside the flask, thus avoiding leakage. It is also used for mixing the contents inside the flask thoroughly. A rubber bung plug is referred to as a closure of a steel drum or barrel.
These are made up of much-hardened rubber, primarily used in a small-scale laboratory to keep away corrosive gases. A rubber bung plug is straightforward to use and install as you just need to push it into the required spot without the need to fit in with the use of any fasteners or fixers.
You can use these rubber bung plugs when you want to blank off an unnecessary hole neatly, preventing any access to it. You can also use these plugs to prevent any access to the area by protecting its internal space. Always make sure to measure your plug before using it in any size.
The method for measuring your plug is finding your panel’s thickness and then measuring the diameter of the hole required.
A rubber bung plug is used to protect, sealing, and mask off areas during painting or powdering processes. A rubber bung plug can also be used to fill bottles and containers. They offer high resistance to temperature and are easy to push into the fitting. A rubber bung plug is Silicone plugs, tapered bung (silicone and EPDM), rubber blanking plugs (flexible), masking plugs, etc.

Stopper & Plug Size Catalog
Compare four stopper profiles and check the selected part dimensions against your opening and available depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
Custom colors are available to your Pantone color code. Include the code in your inquiry.
RST T-Shaped Plugs
Match stem diameter A, flange diameter B, stem length C and flange thickness D. E refers to the underside recess; use the selected row and approved drawing to confirm the actual profile.

RSA Tapered Corks
Compare large-end diameter A, small-end diameter B and Height, in mm. The mating bore and required seating depth determine where the taper contacts the opening.

RSB Undercut Plugs
Compare neck diameter A, flange diameter B, flange-to-lip distance C and flange thickness D. Check panel thickness and rear clearance. E refers to the underside recess.

RSD T-Shaped Stoppers
Compare stem diameter A, flange diameter B, stem length C and head thickness D, in mm. Check the seating surface and available depth as well as the hole diameter.
