Rubber hitch plug
Rubber hitch plugs are used to keep the trailer hitch receiver tube clean and protected when not in use or towing. The hitch plugs protect the receiving trailer tube against dirt, dust, water, debris, moisture, and rust. On top of that, hitch plugs made of rubber account for an added protection as they are weather resistant, temperature resistant, durable, and long lasting. Not only are rubber hitch plugs used for protecting the receiving hitch tube in trailers or towing vehicles, but they also enhance the looks of the vehicle by incorporating finishing touches and decorating the trailer base.
These hitch plugs have a rubber strap that can be implanted into the trailer tube so that they don’t get loose or taken off when traveling on bumpy roads or getting serviced at a car wash. Furthermore, the rubber hitch plugs come in a wide variety of sizes and shapes and it is advised to measure the thickness of the towing pipe to get a better idea of the size of the hitch plug to be used. Aside from being available for all sizes, these hitch plugs are also very easy to use and attach. They’re designed with a cutting-edge technology to support a simplistic push-on feature, which means all you have to do is insert the hitch plug in the towing pipe properly and it will latch onto it firmly.
As mentioned already, trailer hitch plugs are the perfect way to protect your hitch receiver when not towing. However, aside from protecting the towing tube from usual environmental factors such as dust and humidity, rubber hitch plugs also safeguard it from mud, sand, worms, and snow! They have a long lifespan due to the constituent material being industrial rubber, which does not corrode and can withstand high oxidative damage, temperature, compression, and external pressure.

Stopper & Plug Size Catalog
Compare four stopper profiles and check the selected part dimensions against your opening and available depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
Custom colors are available to your Pantone color code. Include the code in your inquiry.
RST T-Shaped Plugs
Match stem diameter A, flange diameter B, stem length C and flange thickness D. E refers to the underside recess; use the selected row and approved drawing to confirm the actual profile.

RSA Tapered Corks
Compare large-end diameter A, small-end diameter B and Height, in mm. The mating bore and required seating depth determine where the taper contacts the opening.

RSB Undercut Plugs
Compare neck diameter A, flange diameter B, flange-to-lip distance C and flange thickness D. Check panel thickness and rear clearance. E refers to the underside recess.

RSD T-Shaped Stoppers
Compare stem diameter A, flange diameter B, stem length C and head thickness D, in mm. Check the seating surface and available depth as well as the hole diameter.
