Rubber seal plug
We all know how vulnerable metallic tubing systems can be, primarily when used inside various appliances. If there isn’t a way to seal them off from outside air and pressure, there is a big chance that the metallic tubing will be exposed to it and corrode or get unclean quickly. This is undesirable because various appliances rely on the tubing for heating and cooling purposes, and any debris in the metallic tubing can hinder that from happening.
The tubing used in medical usage also needs to be sterilized and kept clean otherwise, it might cause infection. That’s why an automatic necessity arises for a seal plug that can seal the metal tubing to keep dirt and air outside and allow the tubings to be cleaned from the inside. A rubber seal plug would be the most effective seal plugs in this scenario because it can resist high temperatures, is water-proof, and can ensure that the holes are seal-proof.
A rubber seal plug is designed to perfectly cater to the needs of metallic tubing by having the exact dimensions to fit metallic tubing inside it. A rubber seal plug’s size standards are directly proportional to the metallic tubing’s size standards to ensure compatibility. A rubber seal plug seals the tube off so that gas can be inserted into the metal tubing to clean it and not leak outside. There is also often a tab on the rubber seal plugs to ensure they are removed easily.
Similarly, metal tubings in medical environments are fitted with a rubber seal plug to ensure the tube is sterilized thoroughly from the inside. Since sterilization temperatures can be pretty hot, it’s essential that the seals that plug them are made from rubber which can resist high amounts of temperatures effectively without melting down. A rubber seal plug is available in various rubbers like neoprene or SBR, which each have their own properties.
Stopper & Plug Size Catalog
Compare four stopper profiles and check the selected part dimensions against your opening and available depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
Custom colors are available to your Pantone color code. Include the code in your inquiry.
RST T-Shaped Plugs
Match stem diameter A, flange diameter B, stem length C and flange thickness D. E refers to the underside recess; use the selected row and approved drawing to confirm the actual profile.

RSA Tapered Corks
Compare large-end diameter A, small-end diameter B and Height, in mm. The mating bore and required seating depth determine where the taper contacts the opening.

RSB Undercut Plugs
Compare neck diameter A, flange diameter B, flange-to-lip distance C and flange thickness D. Check panel thickness and rear clearance. E refers to the underside recess.

RSD T-Shaped Stoppers
Compare stem diameter A, flange diameter B, stem length C and head thickness D, in mm. Check the seating surface and available depth as well as the hole diameter.
