Rubber sealing plugs
The rubber sealing plugs are ordinarily dwindling, tapered, or strobiloid shaped plugs that are used to seal off the openings of many industrial and glassware materials such as vials, test tubes, faucets, and flasks among other vessels. These sealing plugs are made of other substances too, but the ones made of rubber are usually preferred because of a multitude of desirable properties. The rubber sealing plugs are temperature resistant, chemical resistant, elastic, durable, have the capability to endure UltraViolet damage, and provide adequate stability.
Rubber sealing plugs are mostly used in households to seal off small or large jars, vessels, taps, or having the amenities of an air-tight container. They may also be used in laboratories to hinder a gas, vapor, or a liquid from escaping its pitcher while conducting a meticulous experiment. Another key role of such plugs is to check the contamination of chemical or biochemical samples, and prevent their oxidation by air exposure. Lastly, the rubber sealing plugs also find their use in aiding efficient blending or mixing of synthetic solutions without causing an overspill.
The size of a rubber sealing plug can vary, and depending on your point of usage you can avail yourself the size that fits your application the best. Regarding the shape, it is usually conoid and tapered but again, the sealing plugs can come in numerous shapes and you can choose the one that will work best for your purpose. The small sealing plugs are the most appropriate to seal off little containers, vials, test tubes, or other glassworks, whereas the plugs that are large in size are more suitable for jars, urns, kettles, pitchers, and beakers. With qualities such as being multi-purpose, convenient to install, and having a light weight, rubber sealing plugs are profoundly valuable at sealing off any openings you’d like to patch over.

Stopper & Plug Size Catalog
Compare four stopper profiles and check the selected part dimensions against your opening and available depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
Custom colors are available to your Pantone color code. Include the code in your inquiry.
RST T-Shaped Plugs
Match stem diameter A, flange diameter B, stem length C and flange thickness D. E refers to the underside recess; use the selected row and approved drawing to confirm the actual profile.

RSA Tapered Corks
Compare large-end diameter A, small-end diameter B and Height, in mm. The mating bore and required seating depth determine where the taper contacts the opening.

RSB Undercut Plugs
Compare neck diameter A, flange diameter B, flange-to-lip distance C and flange thickness D. Check panel thickness and rear clearance. E refers to the underside recess.

RSD T-Shaped Stoppers
Compare stem diameter A, flange diameter B, stem length C and head thickness D, in mm. Check the seating surface and available depth as well as the hole diameter.
