Silicone bungs are made of state-of-the-art silicone rubber technologies that enable the bungs to resist temperatures as high as 320°C or 610°F. As a well-renowned stopper solution, these bungs are famous for their tapered or conical shape, permitting them to be used over a range of hole sizes and diameters instead of a single-sized opening make them a tremendous all-purpose stopper. These bungs are most commonly used for powder coating, shot blasting, sealing, masking, and anodizing or printing industries where materials are regularly subjected to high temperatures. The silicone bungs, being high-temperature resistant, act as a protectant that absorbs thermal damage quite well.

A standard silicone bung is usually available in all sizes ranging from 0.5 mm to 128 mm. But, they can have other measures as well, especially if they’re custom-made to fit your materials the best.
