Silicone Rubber Plugs
Silicone rubber plugs are elastomer closures used where a flexible body must fit an opening or mask a selected area. They belong to the wider rubber-plug family, but material choice depends on the job rather than a general ranking of silicone above every other elastomer. The opening shape, removal frequency and contact conditions all influence the profile and compound needed for a useful fit.
For an application involving heat, identify the temperature reached by the part and how long each exposure lasts. The plug must retain the required shape and handling characteristics during the actual process. Neither the word silicone nor a product photograph establishes a working-temperature rating. Select the grade and dimensions together, especially when a thin section or a projecting grip changes how the plug is used.
Color provides another way to distinguish plugs during assembly or sorting. Specify a Pantone reference when a particular shade matters, together with the finish and any marking requirements. Color choice does not replace the need to check insertion, retention and removal on the mating component. Comparing those practical details gives a clearer basis for selection than repeating broad claims about service life.
All dimensions are in mm
Stopper & Plug Size Catalog
Compare four stopper profiles and check the selected part dimensions against your opening and available depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
Custom colors are available to your Pantone color code. Include the code in your inquiry.
RST T-Shaped Plugs
Match stem diameter A, flange diameter B, stem length C and flange thickness D. E refers to the underside recess; use the selected row and approved drawing to confirm the actual profile.

RSA Tapered Corks
Compare large-end diameter A, small-end diameter B and Height, in mm. The mating bore and required seating depth determine where the taper contacts the opening.

RSB Undercut Plugs
Compare neck diameter A, flange diameter B, flange-to-lip distance C and flange thickness D. Check panel thickness and rear clearance. E refers to the underside recess.

RSD T-Shaped Stoppers
Compare stem diameter A, flange diameter B, stem length C and head thickness D, in mm. Check the seating surface and available depth as well as the hole diameter.
