Solid rubber stopper size chart
Solid rubber stoppers are highly convenient objects that seal test tubes and similar containers. The reason why they are so popular is that they will make sure nothing enters or escapes the container. But since the choice of material is rubber, it allows us to easily make solid rubber stoppers based on a specific size. To easily do that, we have a solid rubber stopper size chart for you to look at. Our size chart can perfectly fit any container and be used to order specific solid rubber stoppers.
If you’re having difficulties figuring out what size you need, we’d be more than happy to help you determine the right size. Not only that, but we will explain to you how to measure the container opening to determine what size best fits your needs.
Among other factors, there are three things to look at. These are the top side, the bottom side, and the length. Each of our solid rubber stoppers comes with precise measuring for all three and you can navigate towards the chart to figure out which solid rubber stopper best suits your needs.
Solid rubber stoppers will make sure nothing escapes the container you plan on sealing off. The unique properties of the rubber material will make sure the right size naturally fits the container and will prevent gas or liquid from escaping the container. Since we use rubber in the making of the stoppers, it provides users with an extra set of properties. Not only are they easy to fit and will prevent liquid or gas from escaping, but they are also 100% water and oil-resistant. In addition, they will make sure nothing enters the container and potentially contaminate the gas or liquid inside. Please navigate to our solid rubber stopper size chart below to figure out what rubber stopper best fits your needs.
Stopper & Plug Size Catalog
Compare four stopper profiles and check the selected part dimensions against your opening and available depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
Custom colors are available to your Pantone color code. Include the code in your inquiry.
RST T-Shaped Plugs
Match stem diameter A, flange diameter B, stem length C and flange thickness D. E refers to the underside recess; use the selected row and approved drawing to confirm the actual profile.

RSA Tapered Corks
Compare large-end diameter A, small-end diameter B and Height, in mm. The mating bore and required seating depth determine where the taper contacts the opening.

RSB Undercut Plugs
Compare neck diameter A, flange diameter B, flange-to-lip distance C and flange thickness D. Check panel thickness and rear clearance. E refers to the underside recess.

RSD T-Shaped Stoppers
Compare stem diameter A, flange diameter B, stem length C and head thickness D, in mm. Check the seating surface and available depth as well as the hole diameter.

Discuss Your RequirementsProduct specifications
- Product form
- Solid, unbored container stopper
- Application focus
- Test tubes. Size the part against the selected assembly.
- Dimensions to confirm
- Opening diameter, closure profile, insertion depth and exposed grip. Match these to test tubes.
- Size selection
- Choose the drawing or chart row by its functional dimensions and units; verify mating-part tolerances before ordering.
- Closure section
- Closed, unbored section; define the sealing profile and the insertion stop.
- Contact conditions
- Other gases, water and lubricating oil: define concentration, temperature and contact time, then check compatibility with the chosen compound.
- Exposure to evaluate
- Oil splash. Validate the selected material under the combined conditions.
- Seating check
- Check the sealing contact around the opening and the force needed for insertion and removal.
