Thin wall silicone tubing

Thin wall silicone tubing has a very common application in medicine, but also in many other spheres. It is used so often in medicine for two reasons. The first reason is the suitability of silicone for contact with humans because it is non-toxic and is suitable even for contact with the inside of the body and food. Hospitals are of course not the only places where we can find thin wall silicone tubing in wide use, but also in various industries, even in the food industry. Food-safe silicone tubes are an indispensable part of refrigerators, freezers, coffee machines, and are even used in wineries. Thin wall silicone tubing can be used anywhere where tubing is needed that is resistant to water and weather, and also resistant to large changes in temperature. Silicone withstands from minus 75 to 280C so it is very difficult to find an environment where it is not suitable.

The diameter, both outer and inner, can be very different, and you can also just choose the diameter of thin wall silicone tubing. As for wall thickness, the thickness rarely exceeds 0.15 mm, but of course this is also subject to customization. Wall thickness is very often about 0.05 mm which is very thin, but will be suitable for different purposes.

Silicone is environmentally friendly and non-toxic, so it is increasingly used. It is mostly transparent or white, but can be other colors. It can be black, red, blue or whatever color you need.
