Rubber pole caps are way more present in our surroundings than we might feel. Think about it – when have you ever saw an installed pole, of any kind, that had an open, hollow end? That’s right, you never have. Poles that are used for various purposes almost always have one thing in common and that is the fact that they are hollow in the middle. Why is that? Also, if the poles were not hollow, they would be way too hard to transfer, install and so on.

Not only do they protect the pole from being damaged by water or anything else, but they also protect us from the sharp edges of the pole. For instance, poles that are used to encompass a children’s trampoline always have rubber pole caps on top to protect the kids from injuring themselves.

The important thing to know when shopping for rubber pole caps is hot to choose the right one. Even though rubber is flexible, you still need to buy the right fit. The rubber pole caps will show their inner diameters. The inner diameter of a rubber pole cap should match the outside diameter of the pole you want to close.

Since poles come in all kinds of shapes and sizes – rubber pole caps do too. They could be made from silicone, natural rubber, PVC, EPMD, neoprene and so on.
