FIT & APPLICATION GUIDE

Match both sides of the rectangular leg

The rectangular cavity fixes the orientation of this chair foot. Check the leg width, length and corner shape together before selecting a model.

01 / BEFORE YOU CHOOSE

What to measure for this profile

Two internal sides: A × B
Compare both opening dimensions with the finished leg. Matching only the longer side can leave the shorter side loose.
Corner shape
Check corner radius, welded seams and coatings. A square-looking tube may have rounded corners that seat differently.
Internal depth C
Measure the straight length available below any brace or weld. Leave room around the outer rim.

02 / INSTALLATION

Align the corners before pressing on

  1. Orient the opening

Match the long and short sides with the leg before applying force. Do not twist the foot through a quarter-turn while fitted.

  2. Start all four corners

Ease the mouth evenly over the leg, keeping each corner outside the cavity wall.

  3. Press to the seating position

Support the chair and press along the leg. Check that a weld bead has not stopped one side early.

  4. Set the chair on a level surface

Inspect all feet for even seating and rocking. Trial movement on the actual flooring and check for marking.

03 / USE & CHECK

Where to use this profile

Rectangular chair frames

Suitable geometry to evaluate for rectangular tube ends; the rim needs clearance from nearby crossbars.

Table legs with unequal sides

Record the orientation in your assembly drawing so the selected opening is not confused with a square section.

For a selection review: Leg width × length, corner radius, coating, available depth and a photo of the tube end. Send your application details →
