FIT & APPLICATION GUIDE

Use the flat circular face to establish the stand-off

This columniform adhesive foot has straight sides and a flat contact face. Choose the diameter and height together, then plan the support positions under the equipment.

01 / BEFORE YOU CHOOSE

What to measure for this profile

Circular diameter OD
Allow a flat bonding area for the complete disk and enough clearance from screws or base edges.
Column height H
Check the desired stand-off with the rubber under the intended load, not just its unloaded height.
Support layout
Record foot count, positions and the equipment’s weight distribution. Do not assume each foot carries an equal share.

02 / INSTALLATION

Lay out the supports before bonding the disks

A base layout shows separate circular supports; the side section shows flat contact and the stand-off below the housing.
A base layout shows separate circular supports; the side section shows flat contact and the stand-off below the housing. Schematic, not to scale; verify the selected part and assembly.
  1. Mark the support positions

Place lined feet on the underside layout, keeping access covers and vents clear. Check that the equipment will be stable.

  2. Prepare each bonding area

Use the selected backing’s instructions for the actual substrate and finish; let all areas dry.

  3. Seat each disk flat

Remove liners and apply the prescribed pressure across each circular footprint without tilting the columns.

  4. Set down after the required bond time

Check rocking and uneven compression. Lift the equipment when relocating it if dragging would shear or peel the pads.

03 / USE & CHECK

Where to use this profile

Desktop equipment bases

Evaluate flat-faced circular feet where a defined support pattern is needed under an enclosure.

Circular stand-off pads

Compare loaded height and sideways movement where the cylinder separates two flat surfaces.
