FIT & APPLICATION GUIDE

Place the rectangular footprint fully on the base

A rectangular adhesive foot needs a flat bonding area under its entire footprint, including all four corners. Plan its orientation before removing the liner.

01 / BEFORE YOU CHOOSE

What to measure for this profile

Footprint A × B
Check both plan dimensions against the flat mounting area. Keep corners clear of rounded housing edges, seams and screw pockets.
Height H
Check the stand-off and the space to surrounding parts. Allow for the actual compression under service load.
Surface and backing
Identify the substrate, coating and adhesive grade. The rubber compound does not establish backing compatibility.

02 / INSTALLATION

Align the edges, then press the full rectangle

  1. Mark the footprint

Dry-position the foot with the liner on. Align its long edge with the housing and check all four corners are supported.

  2. Prepare the flat area

Use the backing supplier’s surface preparation method and let the surface dry. Keep it free of dust and residue.

  3. Remove the liner and place once

Avoid touching the adhesive. Apply the specified pressure across the full rectangle, including the corners.

  4. Allow the specified bond time

Follow the backing instructions before loading. Inspect the corners for lifting after trial use.

03 / USE & CHECK

Where to use this profile

Flat rectangular housings

Use the available underside area to plan a balanced pad layout clear of vents and access panels.

Broad contact pads

Evaluate the actual contact pressure and surface marking where the rectangular face meets another component.
